Namaste!
I’m Aarati Bogati from Hetauda Makwanpur- Nepal. I grew up in the safe home of WPC Nepal where they helped and encouraged me in my growth. With their help, I was able to graduate high school and start Nari Boutique Nepal. I joined WPC safehome in 2012 when I was a child who had the dream of becoming an educated girl and wanted to contribute positively to society. As I was growing up, I began to see differences in my childhood compared with others. My father and mother’s income was just enough for our daily use expenses. My father took me to a school and told me that he used to have a dream of being educated and having a better way in society, but he was not able to do that in his life because of his underprivileged childhood and lack of money to invest for education. Instead, he wanted me to complete his dream and educate myself so that I could sustain myself. My life ran smoothly with my parents but after a few years my father passed away and we had no income source to  run our home. We never think  that can happen in our life and bring change without reason and it is said that whatever happens happens for the best. After all this, I got the opportunity to join WPC Nepal and I started my life to dream big in the safehome with my second family. I spent my 10 years in the safehome with my lovely and energetic friends. My childhood passed with these amazing and outstanding people with a lot of memories that I feel blessed to still remember right now. I heartily want to thank them for their help, support, and homely environment so that I’m motivated to do something forward.

Nari Boutique Nepal is the small business site started from Nepal to uplift skills and knowledge by providing opportunities internationally. It has the dream of bringing new changes and opportunities in the life of women who are in search of opportunities. This is not only the business itself but has been working as a new door knocking to inspire and uplift them as an opportunity in Nepal. Nari Boutique Nepal creates artwork with unique stories that will inspire everyone to know more about us through our products and inventory. I’m inspired by the founder of WPC Nepal and supporter of Nari Boutique Nepal, Mrs Lila Lama Ghising, who told me once, nothing is impossible in our life if we have a dream to complete. So, Nari Boutique Nepal is my path of inspiration for creating new skills and empowering the women for their self existence in our society through our small effort of impact. When we have a team we can do it. This is my team and with their collaboration, I’m working to make it impactful.

Let’s work together to uplift unique skills and empower women by providing opportunities from Nepal and many more places internationally.

Thank you!

AITA  MAYA  TAMANG

Lead Painter

My name is Aita Maya Tamang.

I am from Ruby Valley, Dhading-Nepal. In my family there are 5 daughters and 2 sons. Among them, I am the youngest daughter in my family. In my village, there aren’t proper facilities of schooling to provide education for girls. When I was a child, my sisters and I were forced to leave our village, family, and friends due to poverty, child marriage, and human traffcking. I was protected by my sister Ganga and founder of a safe home, Lila Ghising. They brought me to the safe-home. I remembered when I left my village I was scared and I didn’t understand the language and culture in the city. I thought I was sold. It took me a while to realize I was safe. Now, I know  I ‘m lucky to be here. I met many sisters like me and found my second family. Many of my childhood friends in the village who were forced into a child-marriage already have their own children. On a daily basis they experience poverty and abuse from their partners. I believe the same thing would have happened to me,  if I weren’t given the opportunity to be in the safehome. I have lived in a safe home for 10 years and I have graduated from high school. And I am going to start college for  higher education. Through the WPC-Nepal safe home organization, many children like me are getting a new life and finding a new family.  They provide good education, shelter, meals, love and acceptance.

Now I’m an adult and I have to start supporting myself for higher education. I am starting my side business with help from Nari Boutique to utilize my talents and interests.Through my artistic creation, I am able to capture the beauty and culture of Nepal. I find when I close my eyes I can see beautiful images and concepts in my mind. It’s a gift I love to share and use as a source of passion and living. I am thankful to be working with this small business and gaining valuable vocational experience.

I take personal requests and orders for paintings, so please reach out for any inquiries.

ANJU  MOKTAN

Painting  Artist

Hello and Namaste, My name is Anju Tamang. My father passed away when I was five years old, and my family life changed forever. And later, my sibling and I were abandoned by our mother. We couldn’t survive; Nepal Government doesn’t provide any welfare services. So my sibling and I were separated, and some of my siblings went to different relatives’ homes. I was desperate and at risk of being trafficked to a different country. I didn’t have any opportunity to go to school in Nepal until I was eight years old because education isn’t free. I was lost, desperate, uneducated, and craving for family and protection. The WPC-Nepal safe home gave me family, safety, and education. I have lived in a safe home for the last ten years. I‘m very grateful for their services. Unfortunately, I‘m 18th and older and can no longer live in the safe home and I was re-integrated into the community in 2020. Now, my sibling and I live together, I‘m the oldest in the family, and I‘m still pursuing higher education and supporting them. The Nari Boutique Nepal is a place for girls and women to continue their higher education and sustain their livelihood after the Safe Home and Vocational Training. Art has been my way of expressing my past, pain and hope for the future. So I‘m using my skills and art of painting in Nari Boutique Nepal to inspire many more youngsters in a compatible way to utilize their skills and can get support for higher education and many more in their county.I paint my journey, story, culture, and thoughtful imagination that take inspiration and lots of hard work. I’m able to bring the real shape of my thoughtful vision and imagination through my paintings. By selling my artwork, I support my higher education and livelihood for my sibling and me. I need to sell 12 art pieces a year. Could you join me and make my dream successful? As you know, when one Girl/Woman is educated and successful, her family and community also benefit from it. You have already seen the example of Ms Lila Ghising and Ganga Tamang. Please consider purchasing from Nari Boutique Nepal .And the company creating jobs to prevent human trafficking and generating more skills and arts to impact people in the world, through our stories. I'm Anju Tamang- give Nari Boutique Nepal a permission to share above story and my artwork in the international Market. Thank you!
