Gurung Women
This is the painting of women in typical traditional gurung dress with its ornaments. This picture reflects the women who live in the Gurung community, who mainly live in the hills and mountains of the Gandaki Province of Nepal. Nepal is famous for being a multilingual country due to many different tribes and cultural beliefs. There are many cultures with unique dresses. I love my country and the culture that we have and I strongly believe that we must document these many traditions of Nepal to protect and preserve our culture and dress.
